Frequently Asked Questions
What ages does Atlas Athletics train?Atlas Athletics trains athletes ages 8 and up. Training sessions are organized into youth, middle school, and high school/advanced groups to help athletes train alongside others at an appropriate age and development level.
If you're unsure which training group is right for your athlete, contact us and we'll help determine the best fit.
What sports do you train athletes for?All of them. Atlas Athletics is not limited to one sport. We work with athletes from a variety of sports and backgrounds because the fundamentals of athletic performance apply across competition.
Whether your athlete plays basketball, football, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, runs track, or competes in another sport, our goal is to help them become faster, stronger, more explosive, and more confident in their movement.
What experience levels do you work with?Atlas works with athletes at all levels of development, from younger athletes building their athletic foundation to highly competitive and advanced athletes.
Our training experience extends through the professional level, and that same commitment to quality development is brought to every athlete who walks through our doors.
What does training at Atlas focus on?Our training is built around developing the complete athlete. Depending on the programming and training day, athletes may work on:
Speed • Acceleration • Explosiveness • Vertical Power • Change of Direction • Strength • Mobility • Stability • Coordination • Recovery
The goal isn't simply to get a good workout. It's to develop athletic qualities that can translate to performance in your sport.
Do you offer a free consultation?Yes. Your first consultation is free.
This gives us the opportunity to learn more about the athlete, their sport, current level, goals, and what they're looking to improve. From there, we can recommend the best training option and answer any questions before getting started.
Is Atlas Athletics specific to basketball or one particular sport? No. Atlas provides performance training for athletes, not sport-specific skill training.
Every athlete needs the ability to sprint, jump, accelerate, decelerate, change direction, produce force, and move efficiently. Atlas develops those athletic qualities so athletes can take them back to their individual sport.
